Our Impact

Music Director

Amanda graduated from Tufts University with a BS in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics, and in 2014 earned her Master's in Statistics from Harvard University. She works for MIT by day, while outside of work, she competes in CrossFit and dabbles in all thing's music. Though the pandemic and becoming a mom put things on pause the last few years, Amanda was an active musical theatre actress throughout the New England area between 2009 and 2019. Her last theatrical endeavors included traveling to Scotland for the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe as Kate in “See Rock City & Other Destinations” and living her best life as Elle Woods in The Footlight Club's November 2019 production of “Legally Blonde: The Musical.” Now her four-year-old has stolen her heart and the spotlight, and she has focused more on taking the stage as a vocalist in various concerts and showcases when she is able. She has been in the choir for the New England Film Orchestra for six years now and is often seen bringing musical theatre concert productions to the MIT campus as a part of MIT's Artists Beyond the Desk.
